The Schuster Performing Arts Center, built in 2003, serves as Dayton’s key facility for theater arts. The focal point of this incredible structure is the 2,300-seat Mead Theatre, created by architect Cesar Pelli. This world-class venue rotates up, allowing audiences to view a recreation of the Dayton sky as it appeared on the eve of the Wright Brothers’ notorious first flight.
